A note regarding EPIC's closure

Hi, it’s Dr. Corkin, formally of EPIC Clinics, where I had the pleasure of working with many of you. I’m reaching out to you with news regarding the current state of affairs with EPIC.

Dr. Pecoraro announced his retirement this week and EPIC Chiropractic underwent an abrupt and immediate closure, which was unexpected to all, including myself. I sincerely apologize for any disruption or any inconveniences this causes.

Fortunately, there is a plan. I will now be working out of Healthworks as the full time chiropractor. As the office is mainly acupuncture based, we are modifying the space this week with additional equipment to provide full chiropractic services. Best of all, we will accept Horizon, United, Aetna, Federal Plans, Cigna, VA plans, and more for both chiropractic and acupuncture services. We’ll also be accepting Medicare patients for chiropractic in the near future.

For EPIC patients without insurance we'll be offering considerable cash discounts for chiropractic care. Unfortunately, Healthworks does not (yet) accept Care Credit, but will offer the same discounts on cash visits from current Care Credit patients.

With the closure of the EPIC, I will no longer have access to the sound wave based adjusting machine and, unfortunately, can no longer treat new patients with the technique. I am, however, still here for upper cervical checks and maintenance as required, and am qualified in upper cervical techniques to manually adjust the Atlas when needed.

This transition also brings some additional news many of you may appreciate. Aside from Healthworks accepting insurance, we will also be offering full spine adjusting and muscle work, something many of you have been requesting but had no access to under the EPIC treatment plan.

I genuinely appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this transitional time. I value your trust and look forward to serving you from the Healthworks location, and I truly hope to hear from you.

Warm regards,

Dr. Corkin
